The 2014 BET Awards was June 29 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and Ghana was well represented in Los Angeles especially during the pre-event festivities.It started On Friday night June 27, where music stars and 2014 BET Awards nominees
for Best International Act – Africa category – Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage,
Mafikizolo, Diamond Platnumz and Davido were at the International talent
reception VIP party. Also in the thick of things was Samini, who was
not nominated but decided to take a personal trip to LA for the BET
