Addy Zee Masqueraders Club is the newly launched masqueraders group in the city of Sekondi-Takoradi. Masquerades popularly known as “Ankos” in Takoradi has gained firm grounds in recent years in the city and has become both a culture and a tradition to the people of the city and its history can be traced way back in the 90’s. It Inaugural stage was a handful of masqueraders group of about two or three but has sprouted uncontrollably to more than thirteen groups with a massive number of members from all walks of life both in the country and abroad, who partake in the annual masquerades competition every december during the Christmas seasons.

As the name goes, Addy Zee masqueraders Club founded on 16^th December 2018 and launched on 20^th April 2019 located in East Tanokrom is the new member to join the club of masqueraders culture and has unequivocally won the hearts of many people in Sekondi-Takoradi. It has seen a massive rise in it membership in a very short period of time. The key mission for the organization is to offer help and support to the needy and vulnerable in the society. The targeted vision is to give the youth an empowered future away from the street life and to create an environment of love and happiness for all. Within its short period of commencing, has engaged itself in numerous positive projects. on 20th April 2019, a donation was made to the Roman Catholic special vocational school located in Fijai in the Sekondi-Takoradi, a school for special people and also embarked on a peaceful demonstrations in support of the three kidnapped Takoradi girls. . Addy Zee Masqueraders Club is not just a masqueraders group but a firmly structured organization with the aim of bringing about positive changes in the lives of the people of Sekondi-Takoradi and Ghana as a whole. This is not just the end of it but more of such positive agendas to come from the Club as our main vison is to bring positive changes.
